The 2011 Camaro Pictures Are In
If you are a Camaro fan, undoubtedly the return of the Camaro as a 2010 model was exciting. You could be wondering about the soon to appear 2011 Z28 Camaro images. It is coming, but there is a lot less to be excited about.
The power specifications for the V6 look better in 2011 than in 2010. Brake horse power went from 304 horsepower to 312 horsepower. Torque went from 273 lb-ft to 278 lb-ft. The engine is unchanged, only the specifications are improved. This is since the SAE certification information wasn't ready in time for 2010, so GM had to estimate conservatively. Now that the certification is done, they have switched to the numbers from it. There are no other performance changes from 2010 to 2011.
If your tracking the paper spec competition between the V6 Camaro and the similar Mustang, note that the Camaro just passed the Mustang on horsepower. The Mustang is still a bit ahead in fuel economy. Clearly the results of the paper race are still up in the air.
Drivers will be pleased to discover a few of the 2011 Z28 Camaro interior pictures now out show a Head Up Display (HUD) established on the one utilized on the Corvette. It will display important details on the windshield. This will include speed, RPM, and more. OnStar navigation instructions can likewise be shown on the HUD.
If you like the new Synergy Green, note that it will be around on all Trim Levels of the 2011. It was initially issued on the 2010 Synergy Special Edition Camaro and then offered on the 1LT Trim Level. Due to its popularity, it is being made more available.
The new Camaro SS Convertible seems to be in the works. It is not mentioned on the official site, but a few rumors in web postings suggest it can be announced soon. It will be a ragtop with a glass rear window and small quarter windows. It will accompany its own spoiler concept and an antenna that looks kind of like a shark fin on the trunk.
If you like the retro look, you will like the interior. The quality is definitely not luxury, but the instruments are well laid out and current. You in all probability won't be amazed by the small back seat, but the small opening into the trunk will annoy you when loading large objects.
The 2011 Camaro is a move upwards, just not a big one. It has improvements, just nothing dramatic. If you would like drama, stay tuned for the upcoming convertible and Z28.
