Find The Right Wedding Photography Videography For Your Needs
Wedding photography videography has been an important part of the wedding market for several years. Many couples are eager to have the entire event captured on DVD. Couples often express that they have very little memory of their wedding day, since they were both nervous and quite busy, and the video record provides them with a great look at what actually transpired.
Many couples choose a wedding photography studio that offers wedding photography/videography packaged together. It is often much more financially viable to purchase both elements as part of a package rather than separately. However, you must be sure that the studio's videographers are competent and experienced in the unique medium of film. Some less-reputable studios have begun simply sticking camcorders in the hands of staff photographers in an effort to cash in on the videography market.
When selecting your videographer, it is very important to view examples of his or her previous work. As anyone who has taken video of a vacation or kids at play knows, wedding photography videography is not easy. It takes special talent and training to produce professional quality video. Additionally, viewing the videographer's work will give you a feel for his or her overall style as well as the elements on which the videographer chooses to focus.
Interview prospective wedding videographers just as carefully as you would potential professional wedding photographers. Presented here is a list of suggested questions. You may have additional questions based on your individual circumstances.
1. Will you be the actual videographer for my wedding?
As with photographers, some studios employ staff videographers. You want to meet with the actual person who will film your wedding. A corollary question is whether the sample video you view was recorded on the same type of equipment that will be used at your wedding.
2. How much control will I have over the elements that are included in the video?
Many couples give little thought to their wedding video, instead turning full control over to the videographer. Yet the wedding video is your living record of your carefully planned wedding day. Choose a videography professional who will work with you to help you decide which events should be covered and how the final video should be edited.
3. What type of backup equipment do you carry and how does the backup compare to the original?
Your wedding day is a one-time event. If the videographer's equipment fails, it is crucial that he or she can switch quickly and seamlessly to a backup. However, some backup equipment is older and crude by today's standards. Be sure that the backup equipment is of acceptable quality.
4. What format of equipment do you use and what is your experience level with that format?
As with photography, the digital versus film debate rages in videography as well. Both formats have their own advantages and disadvantages. Whichever format you select, be sure that the videographer is comfortable and experienced with that format.
5. What extra fees might I incur?
Discuss available packages and extras that you might need. Negotiate all fees; even those that you think will not apply such as overtime. Try to get the videographer to work certain extras into your package price. Affordable wedding photography/videography is available but you may need to enter into careful negotiations.
Wedding photography videography are the twin records of your big day. Take your time to shop around and choose the best professional wedding photographers and videographers in your budget range. You deserve nothing less on your wedding day.
One of the most challenging tasks a person can undertake is planning a wedding. What with time restraints as well as budget concerns, there are some couples prefer to give a few of the of the more principal aspects completely out of their wedding totally. One of those aspects should not be Photography. In this article, we will address several rudimentary themes on wedding photography that all couples should know while planning their special day.
How far in advance should I book a photographer for my wedding?
Numerous photographers advocate reserving a photographer right when you get engaged, or at least until you recognize when the wedding date is. It is advised that the couple who is engaged book at least 8-12 months in up front since many studios book wedding dates quickly. Weddings are more numerous from May to October when the weather is most favorable. If you select to hold your wedding during this period of time, the photographer you select will likely need a non-refundable deposit or retainer fee to hold the date of your wedding. This ensures when the your wedding arrives you will have this photographer or studio ready for you, and assuring a contracted job for your photographer. The sooner you book your photographer, the more likely you are able to have a solid working relationship with your first choice.
What are some of the benefits of hiring a professional?
The fundamental advantage to employing a professional wedding photographer is the experience that they have. The vast majority wedding photographers have experience working with many various individuals and challenging personalities. They have faced tough weather conditions, and encountered numerous technical problems. Because they specialize in photography, they are well prepared to deal with assorted wedding sizes or photo demands. Unlike a friend or relative of the couple, a professional photographer's principal goal is catching candid moments on film. Acknowledging they are counted on on delivering superior photos that will be cherished for many years to come, they are less likely to be carried away by aspects of the ceremony. With an event that allows no second chances, hiring a professional is a good investment that will help keep your memories of your special day around for years.
Which one is better, digital or film?
It will all really depend on what the photographer that you choose prefers. Digital is usually less pricey than film. Yet, film has the ability to be scanned at a higher resolution when oversize prints are desired, and it is perfect for fast moving subjects because of shutter speeds that are faster on 35mm cameras. Then Again, digital prints turn out similar to film, and at times even better. With digital photography there are no negatives so there is no processing time at all, as well as even less chance of misplaced or damaged film, or photo finishing problems. Digital photos can be easier to share with acquaintances or family through the use of emails, and online galleries. In addition, digital images are not likely to fade because they are usually put on on a CD or disk. In either instance, if you genuinely enjoy a photographer's work, choosing which format to use for your wedding day should not be a huge problem.
When hiring a professional photographer how much should I expect to spend?
Expect photography by itself to be roughly 5% to 10% of your whole budget. That could be anywhere from $900 to $2,000, and even up to $10,000. This is all subject to on several components for instance advertising, transportation, education, and insurance. Quotes on price include the cost of equipment such as cameras and film. Quality professional cameras can cost in the thousands. While developing black and white film is a lot more expensive than preparing color prints because of a long handcrafted procedure. Other things that couples have to take account into their budget for photography include the number of hours that photographers spend while at your wedding, additional photographers, any additional prints, and custom albums. In addition, expect to spend more for a professional that is in high demand.
Do I get to keep the negatives from my wedding?
Legally, the right of first publications to photos that are taken on your wedding day belong to the photographer when they are produced. It is illegal to re-create or reproduce copyrighted material while not having the authority from the proprietor of the copyright. Many photographers choose to keep the proofs or negatives because they wish to preserve their control of, and protect the photos that they have taken. This give the ability of photographers to charge additional money if additional prints are requested. Nevertheless many wedding photographers do not think about selling photographs, and are more than inclined to hand over whatever negatives. Each photo studio will have various policies regarding who retains the rights to the negatives and proofs. Numerous studios also like to keep negatives for individuals in case the particular negatives have been lost or damaged.

How can our eye differenciate a color?
According to my logic when Sun/White light falls on to an object, for instance on an red object then that object will absorb all the wavelengths of light except the wavelength of red light and it will get reflected into the eyes of observer and hence it is red. Similarly a White object will reflect back all the wavelengths of light and hence it appears white. In case of Black object it absorbs all the wavelength of light and reflects none hence it appears black(Think of a black hole)..
Are there any other answers why are we able to recognize and differenciate a color... Backup with scientific reasons.. More stress should be given on physics part..
Brother, you hav already xplained the physics part.
The secondary reasons are biological. Our brain inherits the power to differentiate things. When the light falls on retina, the image thus formed is carried to brain through sensory nerves. The brain can only differentiate, rest is common acceptance. I mean we accept red color because the inventors had agreed on that common perception of color. They named it red. That is what our brain has been told.
Samsung’s DV300F Dual-View Camera Brings WiFi Into The Mix (crunchgear?)
Many of you may remember that I was straight-up infatuated with Samsung's
MV800 point-and-shoot. And why wouldn't I be? It's absolutely the best point-
and-shoot if your favorite subject to shoot happens to be yourself. While
Samsung's latest camera isn't quite as narcissistic, the new DV300F announced
today still has a pretty awesome trick up its sleeve.
