New Completely Wireless Computers
Computers have been becoming more and more advanced every since they were first conceived. The most obvious advances have been in reducing the size of different computer parts, sometimes by up to as much as 5000%. This has meant that computers are great deal lighter and more mobile and also means that more technology and Hellerman Tyton functions can be fitted in without compromising on overall size.
One area that has only really been adopted quite recently is wireless technology. This has been seen in such things as wireless Internet connectivity and also wireless mice and keyboards etc. However, most computers are still built using wires or multicore cables to connect the various components and this has its draw backs. To start with, wires often get in the way and limit what you can connect when making additions to the motherboard. They can also often become faulty and make it difficult to track down hardware problems.
There is a new dawn on its way however of computer that do not rely on cables and instead each components is able to communicate wirelesses with its neighbours. For example the hard drive can communicate with the processor and the modem without lots of internal wires and can be self contained without having lots of input ports which are vulnerable to dust and moisture. It will also mean that all the elements of computer needn’t necessity be all together and can instead be spread out over a room. This is very handy if you want to quickly connect an additional computer component without having to open the casing up, and also means you can transport different parts around with you.
The technology is still in testing stages but will be included in a number of computer systems by 2012 along with the new beacon light technology for HD computer monitors.
Easiest way of wiring a Digium TE410P to UK (RJ431) connectors?
My new TE410P card has 4 RJ11 connectors wired for 2-wire working. Most UK kit uses 3 wires (there's a 2μF capacitor in the master socket to provide the AC ringing signal).
Can I just use ADSL microfilters (which regenerate the AC ring with their own capacitor downstream of the low-pass network) out of each FXS port, with the phones plugged into the RJ431 "phone" socket; and an old modem cable (outside 2 pins on RJ431 to middle 2 pins on RJ11) to plug the FXO port into the exchange line? Or would I be better off just biting the bullet, investing in the proper crimpers and plugs and making up my own custom cables? (I've made up plenty of RJ45 internet cables, including crossovers and economisers, so am used to wiring things out-of-order and leaving some pins unconnected. My RJ45 crimpers won't take the smaller connectors, though.)
Put both ends of the connectors in your butt. Then find them when they come out of your genitals.
