Anyone own a 05-07 tacoma regular/extra cab 4x4 ??????? help?
Im looking at getting a toyota tacoma regular cab 4x4 5 speed. Im wondering if the i-4 is enough for this truck ive heard bad reviews from people that own them. So it scares me. But its the only truck in my budget thats 4x4. Anyone that owns this truck or the extra cab with an i-4 is there anything i should know ? Hows the gas mileage ? Im going to be driving in the snow a few months out of the year.
Well mine is a 98 4x4 regular cab. It has the 4clyinder engine w/5 speed manual.
This engine is VERY reliable. Many trucks go well over 200000 miles. Just look on yahoo auto's at the older Toyota trucks, many have very high mileage.
1.The truck is not what you would call fast. You can merge onto highways but you must allow enough room.
2. My gas mileage back and forth to work,mostly highway is 19-20 mpg. On the turnpike at 65mph 24-25 mpg.
3. Just drive one and see if you like it. Go over a bumpy road and see if you can deal with the ride.
