All six were flashing. I then pulled the spark plugs out one at a time and visually inspected them. They all looked fine and all looked the exact same giving me no clue which one was the hassle cylinder.
On older engines, you could basically eliminate the plug wires 1 at a time to see which a single didn't make any difference within the way the engine runs. So I don't use that system on modern engines.
Fuel injector cleansing can also raise the efficiency of the engines. Just make sure that you are routinely cleaning the injectors and are following the appropriate guidelines whilst performing so.
While cleansing the injector yourself, you will need to start by turning off the engines. Once the powerplant is turned off, you will need to locate the gasoline injector. The injectors are generally situated someplace closer to your inner assembly in the engine.
Next I checked the gas pressure at the fuel rail. The stress was inside specifications so I moved on to testing individual injectors.
Once you've got located the gasoline injectors, you may have to quit the energy from being pumped into the engine. You can accomplish this either by removing the gas pump or by installing the tube connections.
To check the injectors, I used a mechanic's stethoscope. I placed the tip of your stethoscope on every injector body and listened at idle. On the injectors that worked correctly, there was a really distinct ticking sound. I moved the stethoscope back and forth between injectors several occasions to get a clear image in the sound that it was supposed to create when it was working.
