Acura Repair and History
Acura was the first Japanese luxury brand to be established by an existing Japanese automaker. Formed in 1986 By Honda Motor Company, Acura sought to create a new competitor to its German luxury opposite numbers, typically BMW, Mercedes and Audi. The lineup started with just two offerings, the Acura Legend, a V-6 powered sedan and the Acura Integra, which was available in both a two-door and four-door models. In 1987, after a complete year of sales, Acura emerged as a true rival in the luxury market, matching the luxury of German automobiles with the bulletproof reliability which has become synonymous with the Honda name. With 109,000 autos sold that year, they outsold both Mercedes and BMW at a virtually 2-1 pace. Today, Acura continues to offer cutting edge technology mixed with the trustworthiness that buyers have learned to expect.
Acura's engines, engineered and build by Honda, are some of the most highly effective in the bizz. VTEC, which stands for Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control, was made to extract better power and fuel usage from the smaller, more trusty engines that Acura tends to use. Using multiple camshafts, VTEC permits the engine to change between the low speed camshafts and the high speed camshafts at a destined Revs per minute to maximise power. By doing this, Acura engines have been able to squeeze out as much as 100 h.p per liter, just about unusual in production engines.
It is recommended that the engine oil be modified every 3,000 miles, and all important service intervals for Acura engines are at 30,000/60,000/90,000 miles. It is also encouraged by Acura to have your car checked at 15,000/45,000/75,000 miles for fluid, seals and bushing checks.
Acura is believed to have some of the smoothest shifting transmissions in the industry. From the late, great NSX to the prevailing TSX and TL, Acura prides itself in finding the perfect balance between performance and comfort with their transmissions. However some transmissions have come with little defects from the factory, causing them to grind going into gear or pop out of gear occasionally. Sometimes caused by wear on the synchros, you may need to have certain gears replaced to have your vehicle up and running smoothly.
Using prime quality parts has long been a way of life for Acura. By holding an extreme standard in initial quality, their aircon systems have proved to stand the test of time, most lasting well over 100,000 miles. Nevertheless if the air conditioning system is neglected for a long time it can at last break down, causing an exceedingly costly headache.
Acura's brakes are tough, trustworthy and resilient. Backed by Honda racing heritage, the design from a Honda Formula 1 auto may end up in an Acura automobile inside a matter of years. Many neglect their brakes, servicing them long after the pads have begun to squeal. Acura recommends that you check or service your pads and rotors at 15,000/45,000/75,000 miles to be certain that they are working correctly and at their top.
First invented by Karl Benz of Mercedes-Benz, a car radiator diminishes heat by flushing coolant thru the engine block, then returning it to the radiator, where it is cooled thru the veins of the core. The radiator is one of the parts on your Acura that's the most susceptible to everyday driving. Whether it's hot temperatures, a rock or a cracked hose, any tiny thing could cause the radiator to overheat.

Acura's electrical kit are usually reliable for the most part. With minor exceptions, you ought to be able to expect that your Acura's electric conveniences may continue to work for quite some time. Certain parts like window and door lock regulators do have a lifespan and will need to get replaced once you approach 100,000 miles.
With Acura autos, it is extremely important that all routine upkeep and guaranty repairs are. Done regularly and on schedule in order to maintain the trustworthiness that Acura is so renowned for. It is of the highest significance to have your Acura constantly checked by qualified executives to be certain that it will continue to run reliably for years to come.

Is there any sort of supercharging kit for a 2005 Audi S4, if not, what is a good power adder for this car?
Yes - http://www.mtm-online.de/en/index.php?nav=3&FZID=S4B6253Q&Kitnum=M1S4344450QX
Obviously, a supercharger is going to void at least your engine warranty, and being that it's an Audi, you may really want to think that one through (had an '02 S4 that just about lived in the shop).
It's a normally aspirated car - you're not going to easily add power without forced induction or nitrous, and adding nitrous to a car like an S4 is moronic. Adding CAI + exhaust + software might net you 30 hp or so, but will also cost in the $3500 range. You probably realize there's no way to turbocharge it without repiping the exhaust system, which will be ridiculously expensive.
But, to be frank, the S4 has plenty of power; its weaknesses are braking (due to its weight) and handling (body roll). You'd be much better served addressing those areas first.
