how would i add a second battery to my car to run accesories?
putting in a 19" led flat panel monitor along with ps2/xbox and some subs, currently i have my ps2 in my car hooked up to my 7" indash unit. trying to isolate all of my accessories. ie. led underglow, subs, monitor, systems etc. Just want to add a simple small second battery to the truck so i can use all my acc withouts draining my main battery, i know i need a battery isolator but i just need a run through on what else and or how to hook the stuff up. my alternator is fine it puts out enough wattage for me, and i wont be using the acc while im driving maybe the ps2 here and there (obviously passenger using it) but nothing of to large of a power draw. 43W for the monitor 79W for the ps2 the led underbody i know doesnt draw much, and maybe like around 300W for subs. so TOTAL draw with almost all accs on maybe 450-500W not that much.

You Can’t Rely On American Cars Because American Car Makers Rely On Bailouts (redstate)
The Consumer Reports Company just rated the reliability of 28 makes of
automobile from around the world. No American car manufacturer scored better
than 13th in ordinal ranking. Ranked on a Lickert Scale from 1 to 5, Jeep, the
best American competitor, scores approximately 3.0. No American car does
better than average at staying in one piece. This raises a fair question: did
we really save GM and Chrysler or did we just screw the bondholders to put off
the inevitable?
Much-hyped and manfully-bailed General Motors finished 22nd out of 28 world
manufacturers. Their subjects over at Chevrolet performed modestly better
(17th out of 28) and are currently the standard-bearers and great hope for
bailout motors. Their marquis offering, The Chevrolet Cruze, has received
positive reviews and is temporarily well-positioned to sell well against other
small cars. From thetruthaboutcars.com we read the following:
