How to install Leds that light up with music from a car? Review plz...?
Hey. I know this question was asked by a number of people before but the answers are not conclusive.
So the question is. How do you get some led lights to light up with the music in a car audio system? For e.g. when the bass kicks it would light up. Now previous answers say hook the lights up to the amp output. (Which ends up frying the leds). Someone mention a “light controller box” that can be bought. Can you give some details on this device, if it exists and where can I get it. Am guessing that this “controller box” takes a signal cable (RCA cable) to analyze the signal the have the various outputs for the leds.
Does anyone know about this mysterious device?

It certainly can be done, many years ago I installed a massive lighting install to a friends car that won best lit at HIN in London, UK. I cant remember exactly what lead came from the stereo but it was more like a phono lead instead of an RCA, have a look at the website below as all the stuff we installed came from them, we ran something like 12 outside lights and 10 inside
