Summer is flying by and Redline Motorsport is flying high! After a
"One-Two" shot with Hot Import Nights in Chicago and then Darknights in
Toronto the following weekend, we now have some time to relax before
preparing for the next rush of events just around the corner. Redline
Motorsport did a "three-peat" with a "best" club award at the Sin City show
in Windsor, then again at Hot Import Nights and then a week later the third
consecutive club award marking a new level achieved with hard work,
motivation and respect. Good Job Guys! As if that wasn't sweet enough,
seven of the seventeen cars entered went home with trophies-so it not only
shows how we have grown, but it shows we have quality as well.
So now we have some time to breathe, relax and take in a few local shows as
well as continue the spirit of the club. Next up is the Woodward Dream
Cruise. You will find Redline Motorsport situated squarely in the middle on
things in the south parking lot of Burger King at 13 ½ mile. Right across
the street from Dougan's Irish Pub. We plan to hang out with friends, so
stop by and say hello. After Woodward, it's just 6 weeks to ImportFest
Toronto. With some determination, this will be the biggest event of the year
for Redline, with more members participating here than at any other event
this year.
Stay tuned as there are already BBQ's, autocrosses, drag Races and even a
"Fall Color" cruise planned up north to end the season. As we continue to
grow, we are taking steps to insure we maintain the professionalism that
has come to be our mantra. A warm welcome to our newest members, and thanks
to all the veterans for all of the help and support. We have done well this
year and though it is only half way through, we are already looking to next
year to make it even better.
